Perhaps the best kept secret of the State Fair, the Kentucky Cookout Tent is located in the paved lot between Broadbent Arena and the Pavilion, across from the Thrillway. This covered tent has offered not only an escape from the August sun but a wide variety of Kentucky grown products that will please any appetite since 1982.
You’ll be Kentucky Proud in no time once you sink your teeth into a mouth-watering ribeye sandwich from the Kentucky Cattlemen’s Association paired with the Kentucky Corn Grower’s Association trademark roasted corn on the cob.
You’ll also find all your favorites from the Kentucky Aquaculture Association, the Kentucky Pork Producers and the Kentucky Country Ham Producer’s Association.
Not only are all the delectable foods offered at this tent grilled, but you can find a few healthier options to choose from. Try a chicken breast sandwich from the Kentucky Poultry Federation on for size!
And don’t forget to top it all off with the best milkshake you can find in these parts from our very own American Dairy Association of Kentucky.
